Zooms new AI assistant, part of their AI Companion three point zero release, is now accessible to all users, including free ones. This update offers features like meeting summaries, action item lists, and key insights, all automatically generated. Users on a basic plan can use the AI companion for up to three meetings each month, with options to upgrade for more. The assistant can now pull information from third-party services and soon support Gmail and Microsoft Outlook. It also generates daily reflection reports, creates follow-up tasks, and drafts email messages. Zoom is also enhancing its document creation and management tools, allowing users to draft and edit documents based on meeting details and collaborate with team members.
