1. No Direction
09:15||Season 1, Ep. 1Join me, Teach4Endurance, as we explore the parallels between my experiences in endurance racing and my life in the classroom. Discover how a lack of strict direction can lead to unexpected and enriching adventures in education and training.-Insights from completing nearly 30 triathlons, including Ironman events-How my lack of a rigid training roadmap benefits his lifestyle-The overwhelming nature of educational standards-Building stronger relationships and communication skills with students-The journey of creating inspiring and memorable lessonsNote: The intro/outro/backing track is a composition of mine titled "Leap of Faith II". So while in the episode I mention a song I wrote long ago ("No Direction"), I've updated it to a more recent recording of mine.26. 365 - Chill Session 2
09:09||Season 6, Ep. 26This is the second in a series of "chill sessions". These are usually shorter than most episodes, maybe sometimes more poignant, but still encompassing the endurance lifestyle. What is perspective? As defined, perspective is the state of one's ideas, the facts known to them, etc., in having a meaningful relationship. Note: Song intro/backing/outro is a song I've written titled, Depth (Remix).25. The Blame Game - Chill Session 1
07:14||Season 5, Ep. 25This is the first in a series of "chill sessions". These are usually shorter than most episodes, maybe sometimes more poignant, but still encompassing the endurance lifestyle.Quite honestly, human beings can be quite the selfish and self-righteous bunch. Often, we believe the world (or life) owes us something; or if something goes wrong, we look for anything or anyone to blame, before looking at ourselves.Note: Song intro/backing/outro is a song I've written titled, "Learn the Way".24. QTR
08:32||Season 5, Ep. 24I want you to get these three letters in your head: QTR. What does this seemingly random acronym even mean?Note: Song intro/backing/outro is a song I've written titled, "Summer's End".23. Find the Melody
16:49||Season 5, Ep. 23As a species, we feed off of our surroundings. The uglier, more hateful, negative, etc. they are, whether internally or externally (or both); it affects all of us. Think of it this way. If a child grows up in a home where there is only loud arguing and violent outbursts, etc.; he/she will carry this with them throughout their days (and at some point, will more than likely, act out in a similar manner). Our nurturing/surroundings create our physical, mental and spiritual being. Note: Song intro/backing/outro is a song I've written titled, "Imagine a Day".22. The Battle of You
15:09||Season 5, Ep. 22Every day throughout our decision making, interactions, etc. there are two creatures battling inside you. Since I love sharks, I’ll pick them as the allusion for this battle. You can pick whatever creature you like (cats, dogs, wolves, etc.). Who wins? That depends. Who should win? That’s a non-starter. That answer should be obvious, but is very elusive to our species more often than not. So, let’s learn and discover a little about ourselves shall we?Note: Song intro/backing/outro is a song I've written titled, "Outside Looking In".3. No Return To Syndication
06:27||Season 1, Ep. 3No Return to Syndication discusses how I view the time we have here on Earth, what we do with that time, and the time I'm honored to have with my students. It's imperative to make it count. We only get one shot.Note: The intro/outro/backing track is a composition of mine titled Dirt.4. Secrets
07:13||Season 1, Ep. 4This "secret" has served me not only in endurance racing, but in the classroom as an educator, as well. By keeping four specific things in mind, I'm able to survive both 100's of miles during a race, or the 9 months in a typical school year.Note: The intro/outro/backing track is a composition of mine titled Whisper.
