William Hill Sports Book Club - HH: Helenio Herrera – Football's Original Master of the Dark Arts - Richard Fitzpatrick

•

Adrian Durham & Neil Foggin are joined in the studio by journalist and author Richard Fitzpatrick to discuss his book HH: Helenio Herrera – Football’s Original Master of the Dark Arts.

The book explores the extraordinary life of one of football’s most influential and polarising managers. A charismatic innovator and serial winner, Herrera could also be manipulative, ruthless and cruel. Richard discusses the man behind the triumphs at Barcelona and Inter Milan, examining the psychological warfare, controversial methods and relentless ambition that made him both revered and despised.

Exploring a legacy that stretches to the likes of José Mourinho and Pep Guardiola, the book examines how Herrera helped shape the modern superstar manager.
