The media makes it money by causing panic across the country. Make no mistake about it, but there's money in fear. If they say something scary enough to get your attention and tune in, then they've done their job.
But, can you blame them for doing what works? We're a fear-driven country that has people within it who sometimes make decisions based on if they're afraid or not. On the other hand, we have people, who I wouldn't call brave, but they operate without fear. Maybe even when they should be a bit afraid.
We will also have a little fun and discuss horror movies and the direction they are trending these days.
