At one point, there was no debate from the masses who the greatest NBA player of all-time was. Then along came LeBron James. He became the face of the NBA and seemed to be a staple in the NBA Finals for almost a decade.
But how do you quantify greatness from two different eras? Jordan played in the 90's when things were much more aggressive than they are now. LeBron is currently playing in an era where free agency changes the balance of power in the league each season. So, there is a lot that has to be considered when having the conversation. Is it the number of championship rings? The number of MVPs? The number of career points scored?
What makes Jordan or LeBron the GOAT in your mind?
