Kara grew up in Calgary and has represented Canada in Nations Cups, the 2018 World Equestrian Games and as a travelling reserve at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Matt is one of Britain’s most exciting talents - he progressed from pony championships and has gone on to claim major international victories, including being crowned Leading Rider at the 2023 London International Horse Show.
The pair share how they first met in the showjumping ring - when Kara cheekily beat Matt - and how that friendly rivalry grew into a partnership both in and out of the saddle. They talk about their shared passion for producing top-level horses, the highs and lows of life on the international circuit, and the challenge of juggling two elite careers.
