"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation." Hebrews 9: 27-28

This sermon was delivered to the pastors and elders of various churches in the yearly meeting of the Presbytery of RPC Hanover.

After God used Babylon to chastise Israel for their paganism and disobedience to His law, judgment day falls upon Babylon. Hear of the writing on wall by divine hand, and the swift death that befalls the King for his wickedness and pride.

Hebrews 2 is a beautiful passage of warning and exhortation to heed the Word of the Lord. Having explored Christ's superiority over all things heavenly and earthly, the Apostle urges the readers to heed the supreme Word of God. When we fail to follow God's Word as believers there are dire consequences that await us, even death.

Looking at the Supremacy of Christ as Priest and King from Hebrews 1:1-11

Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords at the right hand of God the Father. In fulfillment of prophecy and expounded in Acts 2.

In understanding the vision in Daniel 2 we are exposed to the implications of the Kingdom of God. God's Kingdom was to be established at the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ with His birth as a man 2000 years ago. In this prophetic vision Daniel unpacks through inspiration of the Lord the glorious realities of this coming Kingdom which we now live under as Christians. Learn how this Kingdom impacts the world around us and How God has placed all authority and power under Christ.
