In this week's episode: Jonathan shares thoughts some podcast exclusive theatre tea, Bob Iger's return, the racism of the Broadway megafans, and the funniest Broadway onstage mishap EVER. Jonathan also has a mid podcast freakout and goes on an expletive laden screaming expedition when discovering a spider on their ceiling while recording. Jonathan also doesn't know why he's typing this in third person.

I want to attach a massive trigger warning to this episode (suicide, mental health, sexual assault): I don't know if I've honestly talked about my story through the theatre and the trauma from the theatre that has shaped my mental health. I hesitate putting this podcast out because I don't know if you're supposed to talk about things this way but I honestly feel like I have very little to lose by clearing my chest for the first time. I hope the right person hears this and knows that you're not alone.

On this weeks episode: Jonathan pitches multiple high concept productions of classic shows in hope a wayward producer puts on this god forsaken podcast, hears said ideas, and hires Jonathan to direct them. Jonathan also discusses the worst piece of theatre they've ever seen (the 2018 Broadway revival of Carousel) and much more! This is an episode that's all over the place but this just exist as a raw/real/ranty outpost so it's a very on brand all over the place.

Sorry for two weeks off, things have been going on behind the scenes! In this episode I am really fired up and really have a lot to say. I rant about the entire current infrastructure of theatre in America. American Theatre, from the top to the bottom, appears to truly be doomed unless everyone decides to stand up and say "we're not allowing this any longer."
