Star Reads @ Monaghan County Libraries

Meabh and Evan joined us for a recording session in Monaghan library to tell us about some of their favorite books including Ellen Ryan's ;Gods don't cry' and 'Girls who slay monsters'.

James joined us to tell us all about how much he has enjoyed the Little People, Big Dreams series. He also tells us about his reading journey.

As part of our Summer Stars Reading Challenge we've invited young readers to talk to us about their reading habits and share their Star reads. First up in Matilde who tells us about her love of Lemony Snicket, John Green, Five Nights of Freddy (!!!) and more.

Chloe is a big fan of 'Isadora Moon' and her cousin 'Mirabelle' by Hariet Muncaster but when it comes to book series there's one that tops them all - Tom Gates! Chloe is such a fan of Tom Gates books she can even sing one of his songs...give it a listen now!

Ria is a delightful girl who loved to read about mischievous characters. Her absolute favourite is 'Daisy' by Kes Gray but she has lots of others to tell us about too!

Rosie and Erin are BFF's but with very different tastes when it comes to reading. They are avid readers and their top 5 lists are very eclectic - ranging from Manga to Supernatural thrillers.

Grace Wilson joins us to talk about her favourite book 'Katy' by Jacqueline Wilson. Keep listening though as her Top 5 is worth noting too!
