Suffolk Folk: East Anglian Tales for the 21st Century

The MA students in Creative and Critical writing at University of Suffolk couldn’t ignore the rich heritage of story-telling and folk tales in Suffolk. Through time many of these stories were passed on verbally and evolved as they were told. As writers, we were interested in the original tales and they inspired us to create versions written in the context of current times. In this collection the original and modern-day connect. Be prepared for fairies and mermaids, wooden hearts and isolated churches where witches gather!
