10. Camp Is In Session – A Conversation with a 10th Grade Cabin
20:20||Season 1, Ep. 10On this episode of “Stories from the Point,” Camp Director Forrest sits down with 10th-grade campers Davis, Bernie, William, Walker, Andrew, Easton, Cooper, Bennett, Jacks, and Christian to reflect on their favorite camp memories, experiences, and stories as they wrap up their final summer as campers at Vesper Point. Each parent or guardian gave permission for their student to be recorded for this episode. Here is a special note from Forrest to our students' parents: Parents, thank you for allowing your sons to be a part of this podcast episode. We recorded it this morning and some of their reactions really caught me off guard. The conversations were very organic and raw with none of it being rehearsed. I asked each of them to share what camp has meant to them over the years and to share any memorable stories. Some of the boys got emotional when it was their turn to talk. I looked over and saw these big old tears well up in their eyes which caused me to barely make it myself. I am not sure if the audio will capture this, but I wanted you to know what was going on in real time. Thank you again. – Forrest Walker
