Standing By: The Terry and Ted Podcast

The man responsible for Terry DiMonte's first big break in radio joins us this week to talk about a Montreal original and the ghost that haunted it. We also draw positives from the Canadiens' playoff-opening loss and lament the cool spring weather and leftlane hogs. 

In the spring, a young man's fancy turns lightly to thoughts of love, while an older man's fancy turns to the Masters, the Habs' playoff chances, breakfast and bunions (paraphrasing Alfred Tennyson here). 

In the absence of company this week, Terry and Ted let it all hang out and even veer treacherously close to breaking their commitment to avoid talking politics. Also, all the usual tomfoolery and features, including Terry's entertainment recommendations and the Tweet Sheet, as well as a cornucopia of reminiscences, which is easy to say and spell when you have autocorrect. 

Strangers in the Night founder Larry Day joins us in studio to talk about the 20th anniversary of the West Island's signature charity and social event, and provides a bonus look inside the TV and film industry from his perspective as an actor. Also, Montreal April Fool's gags, Terry plays interpreter to Ted's crazy dreams and entertainment picks from the picture box. 

This week on the podcast, Terry continues his slow burn over the disservice a lame duck Mayor is doing to the legacy of Mount Royal, we expose a hidden nightlife gem in Laval, and hilarity ensues with the resurrection of Race Horse or Rock Band.
