Stamps Aren't Cool

It's the stamp-collecting podcast for people who don't collect stamps. Gerard's a comedian. Celeste is a normal cool person. He writes a blog called Punk Philatelist. She tells him when he's getting too nerdy. They're married. The podcast was her idea. Catch video highlights on YouTube and see pretty pictures at www.punkphilatelist.com!

Gerard ('Punk Philatelist')

A TV writer by day, comedian by night, and stamp collector 24/7, Gerard started the philatelic blog Punk Philatelist in 2015 after having rediscovered his childhood hobby in his 20s. A humorous, irreverent and opinionated look at the world of stamp collecting, 'Punk' has become a mainstay of a new generation of collectors who are embracing social media and blowing the cobwebs off this dusty old pastime. He thinks it unfair that stamp collecting missed out on the geek-cool revival of the 21st century, and he's running hard to catch that bus.

Celeste ('Mrs Punk')

Usually more comfortable lurking in the shadows of a TV studio, Celeste loves comedy, TV, and her drum kit, and she’s a green thumb with indoor plants. So it’s a shame that she’s ended up on a stamp collecting podcast. While not a collector herself, her years of being exposed to close-range stamp nerdery means she has perfected the art of looking like she’s still listening. Celeste’s natural talent for mocking her husband makes her the perfect co-host for this podcast.
