Apologies for the late show today, but we’re finally here to chat all about another big weekend in the Premier League title race, which saw Manchester City come from behind to win away at Liverpool, for only the second time under Pep Guardiola. After shout outs for the WSL, PSG v Marseille and a few other results (04:21), Musa and Ryan head to Anfield (11:23), which saw another unbelievable free-kick from Dominik Szoboszlai give Liverpool the lead, a great comeback and the world being cruelly robbed of one of the silliest goals of the modern era.That meant the gap was the same at the top as before the weekend, following Arsenal’s impressive 3-0 win over Sunderland on Saturday (30:52). Elsewhere, Aston Villa dropped more points, Manchester United may never lose again, Crystal Palace ended their winless streak and Cole Palmer scored another first half hat-trick.In Germany, Bayern and Dortmund teased a title race (48:13) and St. Pauli got a much needed win. Musa and Ryan begin this week with a huge game in the WSL, where Manchester City opened up an 11-point gap at the top after their 5-1 win over Chelsea. Arsenal, meanwhile, beat Corinthians in extra-time, to become the winners of the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup.Then, it’s onto the Premier League, where there was a true game of two halves that saw Spurs and Manchester City play out a 2-2 draw (10:24) and an incredible Dominic Solanke goal, while Aston Villa lost at home to Brentford, who played out the entirety of the second half down to ten.Arsenal extended their lead at the top, thanks to a very impressive 4-0 win away at Leeds (39:24), Manchester United left it late to keep the good times rolling (46:22) and there’s also a round-up of the rest of the Premier League, plus the Bundesliga, La Liga and much more!London crew, don't forget to get those tickets for the next Southbank Centre show, with special guest Nish Kumar, here.

It was the Stadio derby this weekend, with Manchester United beating Arsenal in the league at the Emirates for the first time since 2017.Musa and Ryan chat about a game that continued the good vibes around Michael Carrick's appointment, following up last week’s Manchester derby victory, thanks to two unbelievable goals from Patrick Dorgu and Matheus Cunha (03:27). Senegal are winners of the AFCON for the second time! Musa and Ryan begin with one of the most dramatic and astonishing international finals of all-time, which saw Senegal beat hosts Morocco in extra-time in a game that saw incredible drama and an amazing winning goal (03:24).They then move on to Manchester United’s 2-0 win over City in Saturday’s derby (27:29), as well as Michael Carrick’s appointment as head coach until the end of the season. There's discussion about the reaction to the appointment, how free United looked against City, whether this is a sign of things to come or if this is another example of something fans have seen before.Meanwhile, Crystal Palace have had a horrid week or so (56:35). Well, not exactly a quiet start to the year. After Enzo Maresca left Chelsea last week, Ruben Amorim was then sacked by Manchester United on Monday.After a quick round-up of some AFCON results (03:11), Musa and Ryan chat about Amorim’s departure (06:34), what it means for him, for Manchester United and where manager and club might go next. A little later than usual, but recorded just before the wild Manchester United v Bournemouth game (sorry!), Musa and Ryan quickly round-up some big results from the weekend around Europe (03:24), including the Premier League, Real Madrid getting back to winning ways, St. Pauli getting their first Bundesliga since September and much more. Then it’s onto the trip from this weekend (17:11), where they visited Venezia for their win over Monza and then San Siro for Milan’s draw against Sassuolo. It was the first time that Musa and Ryan had visited both the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo and San Siro, so they chat about the uniqueness of both, the contrasting surroundings and how overwhelming it can be to visit an iconic stadium for the first time.
