Sporty Girls

Getting ready for the Women's World Cup? This podcast tells the story of women's long hard struggle to get respect in the world of sport and the ridiculous, sometimes sinister forces that have opposed them. It has a great script and lots of amazing archive audio. It is produced by award-winning radio professional Andrew McGibbon and presented by engineering student and actor Orla Hill. And it is a big celebration of Sporty Girls!
