  • 365. Tom Savage on the state of Irish rugby

    57:00||Ep. 365
    ON THIS week's podcast, we are joined by Three Red Kings’ Tom Savage after Ireland’s 36-14 defeat at the hands of France in Paris.This wasn’t the greatest night for Andy Farrell’s side as they started their 6 Nations campaign with a loss.Multiple questions came in the aftermath, mainly about where Irish rugby was going after such a damaging defeat.Savage delves into this and the ongoing debate of who should play out-half, Sam Prendergast or Innishannon’s Jack Crowley.Teams who are going well though are Cork’s inter-county GAA teams who are unbeaten across all codes in the National Leagues.The hurlers made it three wins from three last weekend in beating Tipperary (0-29 to 0-22), while the footballers hope to replicate that record when they travel to Offaly this Sunday.The LGFA side face Armagh and can go up to second with a win while the camogie team begin their season on Saturday when they make the trip to Waterford. All this and more on this week's Star Sport Podcast.
