See What Jesus Sees
Scripture: Matthew 9:36
“When He saw the crowds, He had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.”Reflection:
Jesus wasn’t moved by numbers—He was moved by compassion. He saw the inner condition of people. He saw their brokenness and need for guidance. His mission flows from His love.
Application:
Ask Jesus to help you see people the way He sees them—not as problems, but as precious souls in need of grace.
Prayer:
Lord, open my eyes to see others with Your heart. Let Your compassion move me to action. Amen.
Discussion Questions:
- Think of someone in your life who may be “harassed and helpless.” How can you show them Jesus’ compassion today?
- When you see a crowd or group of people, what thoughts usually fill your mind?
- How can growing in compassion change the way you live and serve?
