Planted for Glory

Planted for Glory: Trusting God with Our Resurrection 🌱✨

Passage: 1 Corinthians 15:35–38

35 But someone will ask, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?” 36 How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. 37 When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else. 38 But God gives it a body as he has determined, and to each kind of seed he gives its own body.

Explanation: In these verses, Paul answers a heartfelt question: “What kind of body will we have after we die?” He uses the simple yet profound image of a seed 🌱 that must be buried in the ground to become something greater. Our current bodies are like seeds — temporary, fragile, and weak — but God is the divine gardener 🌿 who brings new life through death. He alone transforms what is perishable into something glorious ✨.

Personal Application: You can trust God with the future of your body — and your whole being. Just as He faithfully grows a mighty tree from a tiny seed, He will raise you into a magnificent, perfected version of yourself 🌳. Even when your body feels weak now, know that God’s perfect work is already underway.

Reflection Questions: 1) 🌾 How does knowing God is personally overseeing your resurrection change the way you view death? 2) 🙏 Are there areas where you struggle to trust God’s process of transformation in your life? 3) 🌼 What can you do today to surrender more fully to His care and plan?
