Christ-Centered Leadership
Scripture: Ephesians 6:9 (NIV)
“And masters, treat your slaves in the same way. Do not threaten them, since you know that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favoritism with him.”Explanation:
Authority is never a license for abuse or control. Paul reminds leaders that they too have a Master in heaven. Christian leadership reflects Christ—it leads with justice, compassion, and accountability. God is impartial, and He expects the same from those who lead others.
Application:
Are you using your influence to bless or to burden? Whether you're a boss, team leader, parent, or mentor, lead as one who is under Christ’s lordship. Serve others with fairness, knowing that you answer to the One who shows no favoritism.
Questions:
- In what areas of life has God given you influence or authority?
- How can you better reflect Christ in how you treat those under your leadership?
- Are there any attitudes or behaviors you need to surrender to Christ as a leader?
