God's Armor, Not Yours

•
šŸ›”ļø God's Armor, Not Yours

Scripture:

Ephesians 6:13–14 (NIV)

ā€œTherefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place.ā€

Explanation:

These verses emphasize that the armor we need is not man-made—it’s from God. Truth and righteousness are not achievements we earn but gifts we receive through our relationship with Jesus. It is only by wearing what God provides that we can remain steadfast in spiritual battles.

Application:

šŸŽÆ Don’t go into battle with fake armor. Walk in truth, not appearances. Stand in righteousness that comes from Christ, not self-righteousness.

Reflection Questions:

  1. 🧐 What falsehoods or lies have you believed about yourself or others?
  2. šŸ”’ How can you grow in your understanding of God’s truth this week?
  3. šŸ›”ļø What does it mean for you personally to wear the ā€œbreastplate of righteousnessā€?
