Waiting with an Expectant Heart

Luke 15:20 (NIV)

"But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him." โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Explanation:

The father in the story of the prodigal son wasnโ€™t passive. His heart longed for his sonโ€™s return, and he kept watching the road. When his son came back, the father ran โ€” an act of love and eager acceptance. This is a picture of Godโ€™s heart: patient, hopeful, always ready to forgive and embrace the returning sinner. ๐Ÿ™โœจ

Application:

Do you have loved ones or friends who are spiritually lost? Waiting can be painful, but it can also be filled with hope. Instead of giving up, keep praying ๐Ÿ™, watching ๐Ÿ‘€, and preparing your heart ๐Ÿ’– to welcome them with open arms โ€” just like the Father does. ๐Ÿค—

Reflection Questions:
  • Who are you waiting for to return to God? โณ
  • How can you show a heart of grace even before they come back? ๐Ÿ’Œ
  • What will you do today to strengthen your hope and patience? ๐ŸŒฑ
