Scripture: Matthew 9:38

“Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.”

Reflection:

Jesus asked the disciples to pray—and then immediately called them to be the answer to their own prayers. Often, what we pray about is exactly what God calls us to participate in.

Application:

Today, pray for more workers in God's kingdom. But also ask: “Lord, how can I be one of them?”

Prayer:

Lord of the harvest, raise up workers to go into the field. And if You’re calling me—here I am, send me. Amen.

Discussion Questions:

  1. Have you been faithfully praying for more workers in the harvest? Why or why not?
  2. In what ways might God be asking you to be part of the answer to your own prayers?
  3. What’s one small step you can take this week to get more involved in God’s mission?
