📖 Scripture: Romans 8:5–6 - 5 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.

🧠 Explanation: Paul contrasts living according to the flesh and according to the Spirit. Those who live according to the flesh focus on earthly, selfish desires, which lead their minds toward death. Those who live according to the Spirit focus on spiritual desires that result in life and peace. The mindset we choose determines the fruit of our lives.

🛠 Application: Examine your mindset regularly. Are you living according to the flesh, chasing temporary, selfish desires that ultimately lead to emptiness and spiritual decline? Or are you pursuing a life guided by the Spirit, focusing on values and actions that bring lasting peace and align with God’s purpose?
