It's Morphin' Time!

📖 Luke 19:8

"But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount.”"

Zacchaeus didn’t stay the same after meeting Jesus. He stood up and declared his intention to give half of his possessions to the poor and repay those he had cheated—four times over. This wasn’t just a surface change; it was a radical transformation of heart and life.

Jesus affirmed this change, saying, “Today salvation has come to this house.” He reminded everyone that His mission is to seek and save the lost. Zacchaeus was lost, but now he was found—and changed.

This is the power of grace. When people encounter Jesus, real transformation happens. It may not be instant or dramatic for everyone, but it’s always possible. That’s why we must never judge someone by their past. If Jesus can change Zacchaeus, He can change anyone.

Let’s be a community that believes in transformation. Let’s welcome people with hope, trusting that Jesus is at work in their lives.
