Growing Together in Love

Scripture: Ephesians 4:14–16

“Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”

Explanation:

Spiritual maturity is the goal of the whole church. Paul contrasts spiritual infants with a mature body that is stable, truth-speaking, and deeply connected to Christ and with each other. Every part is vital. Every member is important. Growth happens as each one does their part in love.

You grow best when you're connected, honest, and actively engaged. Maturity is not just about gaining knowledge—it’s about deepening love and commitment. Speak truth kindly. Stay connected. Do your part—and help someone else grow too.
