Hey all, so I do another type of podcast with people from my past who I want to touch base with. We often talk about life stuff but there is always a sustainability link. In this episode we speak at length about adoption which many in the anthropocene view as their only way towards child-rearing when the future is so uncertain. We also talk about gender-based (ish) issues and pressures of capitalist worklife that can affect mental well-being in an already stressful world. Heyo! Today marks the last day of my hunger strike because I have to start my medication for my circulation and I need to take it twice a day with a meal. No getting around that and since I've been light-headed a lot it is somewhat urgent. In this final dispatch, I go into my history with food with a few pitstops about my travels, plastic and other topics. I then record having my first piece of food in NINE DAYS!!
