The pilot episode of Fishtory kicks off with just Fish and Bird as Fish presents the abridged, annotated history of Miyamoto Musashi. This was accompanied by a slideshow, but Bird does their level best to explain just what the hell they're looking at. Learn about Musashi's incredibly vague history, his poetry and art, the bodies he stacked (mostly with a wooden sword), and his fateful duel where he clocked a motherfucker with a boat oar. Bird is also slain by a League of Legends meme at some point during this episode.


The bumper is a snip of OMA's cover of Nujabes's "battlecry" feat. Shing02. Rest in peace, Nujabes.
