002: Respect in Open Source Projects
The SARPi project is (probably) the largest avenue through which new users find Slackware ARM, and perhaps Slackware: SARPi may be the first glimpse that a person has into Slackware. We discuss how Phil sees SARPi's position within the ecosystem, and how he recognises and respects that by working respectfully with the upstream.
We move on to discussing working without the safety nets present in other distributions (that are absent in Slackware) by paying attention to what you're doing and developing your confidence and knowledge.
We touch a little on the Slackware ARM build system and how the new system results in a more stable distribution.
