The Sisu Podcast Series: One For provides a soundtrack to your everyday experiences. These will feature carefully selected tracks, accompanied by stories, insights, brief anecdotes and plenty of captivating conversation. One For, will be hosted every two months by the charismatic Little Hats, a creative lead at Sisu HQ. Little Hats will be inviting a variety of guests to curate episodes based on their in-depth skills, knowledge, passion and understanding surrounding a particular topic. One For: A Cancelled Summer will accompany you as we come to the end of this odd summer. Our presenter Little Hats will transport you from the setting where you have spent so many days, to a more exotic space. Each song guides you to a different region of the globe and is thoroughly contextualised with historical insights. The voyage starts in South America, with some insights into Cumbia and Chica, moving further south to get a taste Bossa Nova and Samba. From there we take a spin in southern europe, and finish our journeys with some gems from Africa and the French indies. Tune in for some soothing sounds, and insights into these unique musical genres. Sisu is a community that gives a platform to women, trans women and non-binary DJs and producers. Through DJ courses, events, radio shows, an online mix series and workshops, Sisu aims to connect and nurture new and existing talent in the electronic music community.
