"I choose me" Sounds simple enough right? I embarked on a challenge that I set for myself for a week due to the realisation of how little I chose myself. I allowed certain people to treat me in ways that made me feel small and I chose not to stand up for myself. I chose to sit in my trauma rather than remove myself from the situation because of fear that others will judge me. On my journey to become empowered, I share how I became more comfortable with choosing me and redefining what I really mean when I say "I choose me"
