Welcome to the final of Love Island Season 10 and welcome back to SGTC!!
In this episode, reality TV experts Maura and Ari break down the final two episodes from the Mallorcan villa. Then, they bring Ari's boyfriend, Gabe, onto the show to break down the winners, the season, and give out their season long awards (including predictions on how long each finalist couple will last on the outside)!!!
Ari is in denial about the outcome and says she doesn't want to be here. Maura is annoyed that Mitch is spreading nutritional misinformation but then cries about the strong friendship he has formed with Jess. The two discuss if Mitch manifested this season's winners, advise Tyrique to apologize to his miffed gf after tripping her, and marvel at the inequality of the boy's (albeit tiny) barber day out of the villa. They detail the unfolding shit show that was the live final and express their shock and dismay over the outcome.
They then welcome Gabe back to the podcast! The three discuss the Fiat 500 movement for Jess and Sammy which at least partially explains their victory, specifically the downfall of Whitney in the Fiat 500's eyes towards the end of the season. Ari worries that Gabe might be a Sammy apologist but don't worry, he just has a bad memory.
Can everything that is bad about Mitch be exemplified in his explanation of why crisps are unhealthy? Did we just watch the biggest Tyrique and Ella error of the season? Were we lulled into a false sense of safety by Zac and Molly coming in 4th place? Did the producers craft drama for Ella, Tyrique, Whitney, and Lochan to benefit Jess and Sammy?
