In the City S1 E2 | Hubhouse K*lled Kenny

Amanda Batula packs her bags, Lindsay Hubbard gets set up with a milkman, and Kenny Martin comes for the queen of questions herself.

In this episode of Shaded Reality, we're recapping In the City Season 1, Episode 2 — "Mothers and Milkmen" — the new Summer House spinoff on Bravo. Amanda officially begins her trial separation from Kyle Cooke and moves out of their shared apartment. Lindsay Hubbard meets Frank (yes, an actual dairy business owner) after Andrea Denver plays matchmaker at Whitney Fransway's Welcome to New York party. And Kenny Martin pulls Lindsay aside to accuse her of being the source of all the group drama — but is he right, or is he deflecting?

Meanwhile, Danielle Olivera gets activated, Kyle opens up about his marriage, and the full cast is already splitting into sides faster than you can say "Summer House spinoff."

Whether you're a longtime Bravo fan who followed this cast from the Hamptons or a brand-new viewer just discovering In the City — we've got the full recap, the hot takes, and all the shade.

  • In the City S1 E1 |It's not a raincoat! Full Recap

    52:21|
Bravo's new Summer House spinoff In the City is here, and Shaded Reality is recapping every second. In the season premiere, Kyle and Amanda are already separated and meeting in their old apartment like two people who definitely still have things to say and Kyle is asking questions about West that Amanda is not exactly rushing to answer. Lindsay Hubbard is navigating new motherhood with baby Gemma and a death stare that hasn't softened one bit, while Danielle Olivera resurfaces with a new man, hints of a baby, and a Lindsay-shaped hole in her friend group after four months of radio silence. New faces Kenny (already clocking his red flags) and Whitney join the cast with their own pile of relationship red flags, and Andrea Denver shows up with wife Lexi looking suspiciously unbothered (maybe even boring) which, honestly, we needed. We're breaking down the premiere: the cold reunion, the loaded anniversary dinner, the bar standoff between Danielle and Lindsay, and everything the Summer House finale set on fire that In the City is now walking through. In the City S1E1 | Season 1 Premiere Recap | Bravo Summer House Spinoff | Welcome to New York
  • S10 E16 Summer House| Snow blow we got to go

    48:07|
Season 10 of Summer House ends with a Labor Day ski party that's equal parts absurd and devastating, and your girls at Shaded Reality are breaking down every messy moment. Kyle and Amanda hit a wall they can't party their way through as Amanda finally tells him she needs time apart ten seasons in, and the chapter is closing. Meanwhile, Ciara is out here giving everyone else relationship advice while walking straight back into West Wilson's arms, a man who openly admits he'll "f*** her sh** up" but can't seem to stay away. Carl and Lindsay get the closure conversation we waited two years for. And Ben drops an "I love you" on Sabrina while West is busy telling Ben to pump the brakes on the whole double-date fantasy. We recap the ski fits, the pool chaos, the emotional goodbyes, and the front door that barely made it to the end — because honestly, same.Summer House S10E16 | "Ski Ya Later" | Season Finale Recap
  • S10 E15 Summer House| Not a Vagasil! Full Recap

    44:29|
We're recapping Summer House Season 10 Episode 15, "Full House" Kyle and Carl's tension finally boiled over into an all-out blowup, with both men feeling like the other had been unsupportive all summer. The fight escalated, the guys had to physically hold them back, and Amanda ended up with her hand over Kyle's mouth trying to keep him from making it worse. Which we clocked. Carl came back outside for round two, Kyle called him a "Vagisil," and Amanda threatened to punch her own husband in the face. Somehow these two made up relatively quickly. Kyle and Amanda were not so much. At the core of everything: Kyle learning that Amanda had told people she was open to separating, a detail that Ciara had apparently voiced out loud — and Amanda, in her confessional, said Ciara had just said what she was already feeling internally. Kyle tried to apologize. Amanda didn't have much left to give. The summer ended without resolution between them. But we already knew that!On the other side of the house, West and Jesse had a quieter reckoning, the two reconnecting with Ciara while Jesse apologized to West for asking if he could make out with her. Normal stuff. Ciara hosted the final party of the summer, and the West and Ciara friendship question; what it is, what it becomes, hung over everything heading into the finale. We're breaking down the fight, the fallout, and where everyone stands going into the final episode of the season. Subscribe to Shaded Reality for weekly Bravo recaps every Tuesday and Thursday
  • The Valley S3 E6| Unamused and a male ego bruise

    47:02|
Unamused & A Male Ego Is Bruised | The Valley Season 3 Episode 6 RecapThe Valley packed its bags for San Diego and somehow managed to bring even more drama than luggage. We're recapping Season 3 Episode 6, "All Aboard!" and, girl, the train ride was the least chaotic part of this episode.First up: Tom Schwartz has a crush, and he wants everybody to know about it. He introduced model Kiana Carroll to the group at TomTom, explaining they met at Schwartz & Sandy's, kept it platonic for a while, then suddenly went "exponential." We have thoughts. Many of them. Schwartz is giving golden retriever in love for the first time, and Kiana pulled up with sunglasses still on indoors and sat at the head of the table at her own introduction. We're not saying anything. We're just saying.Zack is still keeping Janet at arm's length, willing to do brunch, unwilling to let one apology rewrite history, while Janet hears "we can be civil" and immediately starts decorating the friendship with balloons. Kristen clocks Zack for talking sideways about Janet while grinning in her face, which, yes. Meanwhile Lacy decides this is a great time to board the hate-Janet train, and we're ready to board with her! Then there's Danny and Nia, and this is where the episode gets real. Their tension feels less like cast-trip drama and more like marriage running out of softness. Danny losing patience, Nia shouldn't have to beg him to act like a present parent for five minutes while she eats a sandwich. A bruised male ego is on full display and we are not being quiet about it.The episode's saving grace? Lala and Michelle bonding over losing a parent — genuinely one of the most human moments this show has produced, and it hit. We're breaking it all down with the shade, the analysis, and the strong opinions you came here for.New episode recaps every Tuesday and Thursday. • Fessler Up: West, Jenn & The Rumor That Broke Bravo

    27:15|
The Shade Report | West & Jenn's Alleged Hookup, Mauricio's DMs Exposed, & Women Who SnappedThe Shade Report is back and we are not letting anything slide. This week we're breaking down the Bravo crossover drama nobody asked for but everybody needed: the alleged West Wilson and Jennifer Fessler hookup rumor that has the entire reality TV internet in a chokehold. After Jenn publicly defended West amid his explosive Summer House love triangle with Ciara Miller and Amanda Batula, Ciara fired back on Threads alleging that Jenn and West had actually slept together — and we are discussing every chaotic second of it. We get into how Ciara doubled down when fans pushed back, an old pizza video of West and Jenn resurfaced, and a years-old clip of West admitting to hooking up with a woman in her 50s suddenly went viral. We're also talking about how Ciara, Mikayla, and Taylor's online fallout helped blow the whole thing up into the multifranchise mess it became. And then there's Lala Kent vs. Mauricio Umansky — because Lala didn't come to play. On her podcast, Lala alleged that Mauricio slid into her DMs after she discussed his separation from Kyle Richards on air, claiming he asked her to grab a coffee. Mauricio clapped back hard, calling her a "f*cking liar" when caught by TMZ outside Craig's in LA — but then the actual DM got leaked, and honey, it said exactly what Lala said it said. Receipts were brought.Plus: our segment Women Who Were Pushed Too Far returns with two of the most unhinged and iconic stories we've covered yet — two women arrested for deploying glitter as a weapon (a choice, truly) and another woman hauled up on harassment charges for serenading her ex with Christmas carols outside his home. We are not judging. We are celebrating. Unhinged behavior has never looked so relatable.Subscribe to Shaded Reality for weekly reality TV recaps, Bravo commentary, and the shade your group chat doesn't have the range for.The content discussed in The Shade Report segment of Shaded Reality is intended for entertainment purposes only.
