29th March PM | Job 42 | Pete Foster
15:18||Season 2025Pete Foster leads us in a short relfection on Job 42. Though Job never understands the reason behind his suffering, he does grow in his knowledge of who God is. Job reminds us that the blessing of knowing God comes after, and not necesarily during, our time on this earth.

29:23||Season 2026, Ep. 129In this sermon, Pastor Neil Todman shows how only if we build our lives on the rock of Jesus Christ will we be safe from hell at the final judgement. The Good News is that Jesus is not only a King but a Saviour, who deals with us at our worst, that he might transform our lives to be best they can be: lives which look like His.

34:29||Season 2026, Ep. 128In this sermon, church member, Graham Thornton looks at what God said to Job in the second of his speeches which seem mostly about two creatures: Behemoth and Leviathan. He looks not only at what the Lord's words say about his sovereignty over evil and his care for his creation, but what God specifically does not say in response to Job's questions.

34:37||Season 2026, Ep. 126In this sermon, PSC Pastor Neil Todman opens up two speeches, one from Bildad and one from Job, and considers their different answers to the question, "Is God just?" He helps us to see how ultimately Bildad's approach condemns an innocent man, but Job's leads him to Christ, who went through hell for us to satisfy God's justice.

He opens up Jesus' negative instructions around criticising others, and how we tell the difference between being discerning and judgemental, before turn to Jesus' positive instructions to love others. Finally Derek shows how all this is impossible unless we are born again and live by the Spirit's power.

He opens up the narrative and structure of Job; discusses how to read the speeches that make up the majority of the book; and then concludes with how Job points us to Christ- the suffering servant of the LORD.
