After another highlight filled preseason win, this time over the Flames, the Canucks are ticking a lot of boxes before the real games begin. Matt and Blake go over the individual performances of note and how it might impact the opening night roster. Plus, can any of these dazzling performances be repeated before game 1? Patrick Johnston of The Province stops by to detail his day with the "other" Canucks, as he was out with Rick Tocchet at UBC yesterday, chatting with the coach and the guys who didn't play last night, like JT Miller and Brock Boeser. Tocchet gave PJ a little insight into who's impressed him, and a personal sports career that we hadn't yet heard about from the bench boss. Then Rob Williams joins from the Daily HIve with a full slate of topics, including a detailed update on the status of new seats at Rogers Arena, the Canucks changing beer brands at the rink, and the new face of intermissions on Canucks television broadcasts. All that, plus a look back at a championship night for the Whitecaps over TFC, and the Lions final preps before the Tiger-Cats!
