1898. Feb 26, 2026: Tyler Myers' trade decision, Canucks downed by Jets
01:48:25||Ep. 1898NHL trade season is about to get going in earnest and the Canucks appear to be leading the way. Matt and Blake take a look at the swirling rumours around Tyler Myers, and what the return might be if he agrees to a trade offer the Canucks have received. The boys debate whether this is the beginning of a busy week for the Canucks, and whether prime value will be extracted. They also get into the game last night, that Myers was held out of, and whether there were any promising performances for players on the block or players integral to the Canucks' future, like Rossi and Buium. DFO Insider David Pagnotta joins the guys with his latest information on the demand for Myers and what he expects to happen. He also goes down the Canucks lineup with his reports on Garland, DeBrusk, and Kane. Plus, could the Canucks make deeper cuts to the lineup than expected? From the ice to the pitch as Tristan Blackmon of the Whitecaps drops by as well. He gets into the contract extension, the temptations from elsewhere, the busy Whitecaps schedule and the chances of another march to MLS Cup. Plus, how did the murky future of the Whitecaps play into his decision making? Then Matt and Blake finish up with some more Whitecaps news in the wake of their Champions Cup win. They also get into a big Blue Jays signing, and Canadian Josh Naylor being a good guy, as usual, with the Mariners.Thank you to our great sponsors:@bet365: It's never ordinary!
