Sekeres & Price Show

Jan 23, 2026: Czech-ing in: Chytil is back, Hronek next "C"?

Ep. 1832

With the losing streak behind them, the Canucks get back at it vs the Devils and they do it with Filip Chytil! Matt and Blake talk about what the concussion plagued player's return will mean to the win-loss column, and the risk for player and team. They also debate the possibility of Fil Hronek as team captain, even with his recent spell of media appearances. The guys look at the latest trade rumours and wonder if the Canucks might be done until the deadline. Jeff Paterson joins in just after the gameday skate and has the details on tonight's lineup, including Chytil's new linemates. JPat also gives us the latest from Adam Foote. Then it's DFO insider David Pagnotta with the latest on what he's hearing regarding the Canucks, from Garland to DeBrusk to anything else. David tells us about the availability of Shane Wright in Seattle and who's first in line to get him, but also if the Canucks could get in on it. Plus, David puts a bow on the Sherwood trade and how it came to be. Then it's Seahawks insider Gregg Bell with the latest health report before the showdown with the Rams. Gregg outlines the expected emphasis on the running game and Kenneth Walker, the pressure Seattle needs on Stafford, and the return of the loud and fiery 12's to disrupt the Rams on offence. The guys finish up with a look at the Whitecaps latest moves, the Goldeneyes win big over Toronto, and Victoria Mboko with a big win in Australia!
