Dec 1, 2025: Canucks weigh trades, Whitecaps play for the Cup!
After weekend packed with hockey, soccer and football, Matt and Blake take a deep dive into all that happened. The Canucks salvage only a point from 2 games, so the guys debate how this changes management's outlook and urgency around the roster. They also look at the questionable efforts at times, and after Foote's comments on team emotions, they wonder if this team is once again suffering chemistry issues. Jeff Paterson of RinkWide Vancouver stops by to discuss what stood out to him over the two games, including the lack of goal scoring, and the black hole at 2nd line centre this season. Jeff also looks at the overuse of Hughes, the return of Lankinen and the latest on a possible return for Thatcher Demko. TSN's hockey insider Darren Dreger pays a visit to get us up to speed on the possible trade of Kiefer Sherwood. Dregs gets into the likely candidates, the current market temperature and the possible prices to be paid. Darren also looks at the timeline for the Canucks to begin looking at the Quinn Hughes trade file, if they ever have to make that deal. Then it's Whitecaps striker Brian White, off his 2 goal performance vs San Diego, talking about the fabulous night that was. He also gets into the performance Ali Ahmed in that one, the depth and chemistry that this team has, especially with Müller, and what Vancouver needs to do to complete the 3 game sweep this season of the skilled and crafty players of Inter Miami. The guys wrap up with a look at the Whitecaps week ahead, and the watch party details at BC Place. The Canadian women's team can't stop losing, the Seahawks keep winning, and the Warriors and Goldeneyes have a tough weekend too!
