It’s Wednesday 10th April 2024, in this evenings show we catch up on the last two matches, both one-nil home against Cambridge and Fleetwood respectively which somehow keeps the season alive with the ‘Pool still mathematically able to sneak into the play-offs.

  • ‘Pool 1 - Cambridge 0
  • Decent first half ,Carey great strike on 30
  • Kousassi and Beesley combo showed a bit of promise
  • Dire second half and lucky to win
  • They hit post, should have a pen and another Grimmy wonder save to thank for the win
  • ‘Pool 1 - Fleetwood 0
  • CA over enthusiastically clapping Cods at the start - trying overstate a point?  Must win for Fleetwood really.
  • First half
  • FW bright start and Omochere put clean through in the early stages, Husband nonchalantly dealt with it though after claiming for offside
  • A lot of blocked shots from both sides to start the game, one of Dembeles stopped by a FW players bollocks!
  • 22 GOAL Beesley, did well to get in front of Henegan.  Seventh league of the season.  Keeper disappointed to be beaten at the near post maybe?
  • Byers should have scored with a low driven shot soon after, straight at the GK.  On his left foot though.
  • Second half
  • Byers slotted in by a great driving run by Lavery on the edge and side foots just wide.  Time for gorgeous George to be chipping in with goals?
  • Bees denied from a tight angle, slotted in by Dembele after a great flowing counter attack move (when Byers was nailed but advantage played) 
  • Lavery pen. Great work again from Lavs and great save from Lynch
  • Should Lynch have been sent off when nailing CJ?
  • And another great save from resulting rebound from free kick
  • Lonegran disallowed goal.  Thoughts on this?  Looked tight but flag went up quickly.  Knappers your view?
  • Graydon should have equalised not long after, Grimmy great save
  • CA drags players over again for enthusiastic applause to away end.
  • Knappers, do you think you’ll ever play Blackpool again and how do think things will end up at FTFC?

    It’s Monday 15th December and in this evening's show we react to the Saturday’s two all draw against Lincoln at Bloomfield Road with Blackpool showing new battling qualities to get back into the game after a shocking start.  We also catch up on a fine midweek away win at Rotherham and look ahead to Wigan away this coming Saturday.Rotherham 0 - Blackpool 3Blackpool 2 - Lincoln 2- GOAL- Nearly got a second. IHackaway miles off the tackle and passed into the box and swept over the bar - 20 GOAL. Long ball from break. Good ball in from Evans to Fletch- Distribution really slow all half especially from BOF2nd half- Lyons on for IHackAway - Flaky start, offside goal Lincoln, overhead kick - Bowler corner fumbled by keeper, nearly bundled in. - Atmos rising- 57 brilliant cross from Imray, bullet header from Horsfall deflected for “corner”- 61 lazy Evans pass giving ball away in midfield, Lincoln break and nearly score - 66 Fletch in, squares to Honey who drills wide with goal gaping. Should fletch have opened up and shot?- 75 ref gestured to crowd re time wasting GK pretending to not see the ball- 76 double subs too late?- Banks causing problems - 82 GOAL! Brilliant bombed cross into box from Banks. Imray doing well in build up not giving up lost cause to win throw.
