Scottish Wisdom

Roar for Scotland

Roar for Scotland

[Verse 1]

From the highlands to the islands Hear the heartbeat of our land,

Every city, every village

Is Now rising, hand in hand.

We’ve been dreaming through the ages,

Now the moment’s finally here—

We’ll paint our face blue and white

We are on a mission to sing and cheer

[Chorus]

So we roar, ROAR, roar for Scotland,

To Let the whole world hear our name!

Oh we stand, stand, stand for Scotland.

To support the boys out in our team

So we roar, ROAR, roar for Scotland

This has always been our dream, but we are here for more, (which is)

To Make the World Cup Great Again.

[VERSE 2]

We’re the thunder in the silence,

We’re the fire out in the cold,

And the stories of our fathers

Live in in every goal.

We’ve waited for a lifetime,

Now the Tartan Army’s loud—

Every Scot across the planet

Lifts their voice to join the crowd.

[VERSE 3]

From pitch side down at Hampden

To the city of all beans,

Packed our scarves and packed our bagpipes

Haggis, Tatties and Good ol’ neeps

We hope you’ll join the party,

With Robbo and John Mcginn

Scotland Forever! In Gaelic

This is where our roar begins.

ALBA Gu Brath!

ALBA Gu Brath!

ALBA Gu Brath!

ALBA Gu Brath!

[Chorus]

So we roar, ROAR, roar for Scotland,

To Let the whole world hear our name!

Oh we stand, stand, stand for Scotland.

To support the boys out in our team

So we roar, ROAR, roar for Scotland,

To Let the whole world hear our name!

Oh we stand, stand, stand for Scotland.

To support the boys out in our team

So we roar, ROAR, roar for Scotland

This has always been our dream, but we are here for more, (which is)

To Make the World Cup Great Again.

  • Attempting to make the Best country in the WORLD 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

    14:41|
A little bit of a relaunch but I am intrigued in how to make Scotland better... I talk about: 1) How Scotland and its people because of the world cup is getting all the plaudits at the moment, its the best country in the world! 2) How the feeling of being on the edge of the cesspit of world politics has been my mindset3) Central belt focus and stranglehold on news and the potential cutbacks of STV... I couldnt stand back and think 90% of the Scottish land not having a voice. 4) Why Scotland has an unbelievable patriotic diaspora all over the world, both the country and its diaspora are doing and have done incredible things and how we can learn from these to make Scotland actually better, because it feels all doom and gloom at the moment. Almost feels like the worst country in the world5) This is going to be both cultural and political, but from the centre and personal. Change doesnt come from government. Change comes from citizens to government.
