Meditation Apps

I looked at several "best meditation apps in 2023" and liked this list a lot:

https://www.womenshealthmag.com/health/g25178771/best-meditation-apps/

I'll add that I use Calm daily; there is a lot to like about Insight Timer and I still use that sometimes.

Ten Percent Happier Meditation is from Dan Harris, whose book "Meditation for Fidgety Skeptics" has helped lots of people find their way to mindfulness and meditation.

Several friends tell me they like Headspace and tends to get strong reviews for the number of options and the fun interface.

Make sure you’re seeing the world as it is, not how we wish is was. 2. Recognize that there is lots of both bad and good going on in the world. 3. When you’re struggling, focus more on the good so you can stay hopeful. 4. When you’re shining, focus enough on the bad stuff so you can identify opportunities to be part of the solution (or at least a smaller part of the problem). 5. Hang out with others who lift you up, and with those who can help you lift others up, too.
