  • The Exodus: A Foreshadow of Salvation- Rhema Trayner

    50:58|
The expectation of God’s saving Messiah was first prophesied at the fall of Adam and Eve and then is spoken of throughout the Old Testament. In Exodus God speaks to Moses and gives him the charge to bring His people out of slavery so that they can worship him. We then see an epic series of events that leads to the deliverance of Israel from slavery to Pharaoh. Contained in the Exodus of Israel is the foreshadow of the final “exodus” of all people from slavery to sin through the salvation of Jesus. We have the opportunity to celebrate Passover as Christians through the lens of God's promise being fulfilled in the death of the final Passover lamb, Jesus.

  • A God Of Our Own Design- Rhema Trayner

    42:38|
There can be a temptation in modern culture to create a Jesus that looks appealing to us; a savior that's easier to worship because we've designed Him ourselves. The Israelites designed a savior that made sense to them, only to end up in full blown idolatry only a few verses later. We are invited to receive Jesus and to worship Him as He is. It's only in seeing Him correctly that we can rightly see ourselves.
