3. Burn bright, not out
41:08||Season 2, Ep. 3I had such a powerful conversation with Gillian O’Gorman, the burnout coach, exploring a wide range of topics — from why burnout isn’t about our work, but our sense of worth, to redefining success, recognising hidden burnout and the masks we wear, and looking beneath the surface at why we stay so busy. As two women with personal experience of burnout, we had a lot to talk about. We also discussed the importance of regulated, self-aware leadership and the need to support ourselves holistically, not just professionally. Gillian brings incredible wisdom, compassion and insight to everything she does. She truly is a beautiful soul, offering profound support to individuals, organisations and executive leaders.

His mission is to bring people together, get them outside, and make it easy to meet like-minded souls in this digital age. Brian is doing incredible work, and his friendly, positive energy is absolutely infectious. He talks about how doing one small thing, having a positive impact on just one person’s life, creates a beautiful domino effect that can touch countless others in a roundabout way. That ethos is at the heart of everything Cara Community stands for. We also chatted about their exciting new Cara Community subscription, which will soon include meet-ups and movement hubs popping up in locations all around the place, making connection and adventure more accessible than ever.
