DJ Sam Divine: The Addiction and Depression I Hid Behind My Dream Life

Season 14, Ep. 5
•

DJ Sam Divine had the dream home, dream car and a career she had worked for her entire life. But behind the scenes, she was battling drug addiction, depression and the pressure to keep going when no one knew how much she was struggling.

In this episode, Sam sits down with me to share the life she hid for years: taking drugs alone, pretending she was fine, dragging herself to gigs, and eventually reaching the point where she knew she needed help.

She speaks candidly about grief, rehab, sobriety, faith and learning to DJ sober - and why recovery has brought her more confidence, joy and purpose than she ever thought possible. Sam also reveals exclusive news about her next career choice.
