Welcome to Silverhead is a surreal, improvised, outsider-art storytelling podcast from performer and filmmaker Josh Bertwistle.
In each episode, Josh puts his mask on and begins with some prompt — no script, no plot — and lets the character, voice, or emotional fragment emerge in real time. Except it's almost always the same character ha ha. The result is a blend of clown-inspired character work, trance-mask improvisation, confessional monologue, and honest, often unexpectedly moving comedy.
