Adam Farrer is a creative nonfiction writer and spoken word performer based in Manchester. He is the editor of The Real Story, an Arts Council England-funded online publisher and spoken word event series, working to nurture creative non-fiction talent in the UK. His writing can be found in numerous publications, while in 2019 he became the inaugural writer-in-residence for Peel Park, Salford.He has performed his work at a number of arts and literature festivals, and has also run workshops on creative non-fiction writing and spoken word skills for a number of festivals and conferences, and the University of Salford.Adam was recently awarded a ‘Developing Your Creative Practice’ grant by Arts Council England to complete his first book, a memoir in essays, titled – The Lost Villages of Holderness.

Edinburgh born and raised, Hannah studied history at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow before heading off to Australia, where she lived and worked for a few years.After subsequent travel in New Zealand and Asia, Hannah has come back home to Edinburgh, and she is planning to return to university to qualify as a high school history teacher in order to pass on her love of the subject to future generations.Hannah’s other great love is reading, and her Instagram book blog is testament to that. It features book reviews as well as opinions on a whole host of subjects related to books and reading.
