Olivia Little is the author of Rosewater and founder of gal-dem an English online and print magazine committed to telling the stories of people of colour from marginalised genders. In 2016, she was listed as one of the BBC’s 100 Women. Her life-changing work has included serving on the LGBT Advisory Group to the UK Government’s Hate Crime Board, helping to produce national policy on prosecuting homophobic crimes effectively and creating free lesson plans for teachers so they can teach about LGBTQ+ issues appropriately.
