Hello and welcome to QUEER CULT(URE). A brand new podcast celebrating, showcasing, and investigating queer culture. The things that our community has brought to and shared with the world as well as the things we have obsessed with from outside of our bubble.


This series is hosted and made by Shivani Dave (they/them) a career queer. They are a dedicated advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community and queer history nerd.


No longer are questions like 'how did the carabiner become a symbol for lesbians? Do trans people learn how to DJ as part of their gender-affirming care? Why are so many queer venues in basements?' going to remain unanswered.
