Queenie

In order to come to terms with the death of his mother, Queenie’s interest in the afterlife becomes piqued. He seeks the counsel of a former prisoner by the name of Shed Sven and also a newspaper astrologer by the name of Melody Newman.

In an attempt to gain can early release Queenie pursues a rather surprising avenue. This episode features another very frightening character known only as Lyn. 

In an attempt to go straight, Queenie gets involved in R-PAC, the Reformed Prisoners Acting Club run by Leon Dooley. However a job at a North London pub is there to act as a cover for some nefarious practices. 

This episode explores the lead up to Queenie’s first incarceration at HMPrison Parkhurst on the Isle of Wight. It features interviews with former cellmates and former governor Leslie Cameron.

Magnus delves into the family archives to gain a better understanding of Queenie’s background and family life including an interview with his father’s mistress Sveltana.
