  • 24. "Gold Tones, Sunshine, and Abandonment" w/ Dylan Hryciuk

    01:12:31||Season 3, Ep. 24
    Dylan Scott Hryciuk is a writer & director based in Saskatchewan, Canada. Much like most filmmakers, Dylan’s obsession started at an early age when he borrowed his families camcorder to shoot live videos of his brothers’ metalcore band in the mid2000s. He’s since turned that teenage passion into a career, developing his craft to write and direct projects of all kinds. Most notably, he’s directed music videos for artists across North America, collecting over 20,000,000 views, awards and online buzz. Dylan’s work can be described as organized chaos. He creates layered visuals that put emphasis on rich world building, thematic through-lines and emotional vulnerability. He’s a bit of a bleeding heart and his goal is to make work that an audience can see themselves in all while being deeply personal.
