Puppy Dog Tales

When I was three I was interviewed by a newspaper about what I was thankful for. I immediately said "doggies." We didn't even have a dog. And it would be years before I would ever have a dog of my own, but I was already fascinated by animals, and especially dogs. I now have a puppy named Buffy with my husband. She loves to cuddle, hike, and tear up all her plushies. When I'm not behind the mic or reading about dogs, I also teach 2nd grade.

I’ve always been intrigued by dogs, but was nervous around them until I was 11 when I went on vacation and my cousins had two super gentle saint bernards. My dad was a vet, so I got my love of animals from him. For my senior project in high school I decided to help raise guide dog puppies. Then I became a vet tech to help me get through college. My husband and I now have a dog named Sadie. She loves playing, practicing her howl, and trying to befriend my two cats Tucker and Mocha. When I'm not behind the mic, I also teach math and science.
